What is GDPR ?
The General Data Protection Regulations become enforceable on 25 May 2018. It is intended to extend additional protection for individuals and their data, providing greater transparency and control over where their data is saved and used.

What information do we hold about you and why?
MGM Fairs collects names and emails, and name and addresses of customers attending their Dolls House and Miniature Fair, in order to advise these customers of further dolls house shows in their area. Customers can also subscribe directly to our newsletter from our web page.
Customers that do not have an email, but give us their address at the fairs, are sent a postcard with the relevant information, when the relevant fair is in their area.
MGM Fairs, also have a list of traders, shops and clubs all dedicated to the dolls house and miniature business.
These lists are kept with at their office and are used to notify them of the dolls house and miniature fairs we organise.
The details we hold will only be used by MGM Fairs and not given to any third parties. We will always store your personal details securely and use them only to contact you with information that you have requested to receive.
MGM Fairs hopes that you will wish to continue to receive news and information on
the dolls house and miniature fairs they organise and you will wish to stay in touch
but if not, please contact us by email dataprotection@mgmfairs.co.uk, to be removed
from this service.
MGM Fairs have identified the following 3 areas, of the six legal bases, for processing personal data.
Active opt-
Documented: Keeping records to demonstrate what the individual has consented to,
including what they were told, and when and how they consented.
MGM Fairs move the
information into a digital database for future use, and retain the Free Prize Draw
Tickets from each Dolls House Show for a minimum of 1 years, then destroy them.
Easy to withdraw: Tell people they have the right to withdraw their consent at any
time and how to do this. It must be as easy to withdraw as it was to give consent.
MGM will destroy any FPD Slip if the customer does not wish to remain on their database,
and remove them from the main database.
If the customer consents at first and then changes their mind, they may contact us at dataprotection@mgmfairs.co.uk for us to remove them.
